shunya / reducing the aspect




The names given to “zero” in early Sanscrit sources, have numerous different meanings. For instance, “nothing” and “everything” are the two meanings of the same word “Shunya” which is a name given to zero by Indian mathematicians. This multi-sensed number embraces the nullity and the infinity, the black and the white, and recreates its own dialectic sense. So, starting by 10, which already contains all its predecessors, I am reducing the written numbers by cleaning them (in a reversed process of time, but keeping the direction of writing) and the numbers begin to seem more clearly more they decrease.
